Winter Woodmen's Challenge 2010

• Wooded Trail Run

Snowshoe, cross country ski or on foot

• 5 shot muzzleloader course

• 5 station tomahawk throw

• Primitive firestarting challenge

Flint and steel, charred cloth, firebow or other friction methods using natural materials

Spectators welcome and beginner contestants are encouraged to try.   Ask us about our primitive skills instruction - we can help you get ready to showcase your skills.  Call us to get registered!

Also at the Coach Stop Inn that day:
Our restaurant featuring elk on the menu and maple recipes, Dutch oven cook-off, plenty of guided outdoor activities, fun for the whole family!!  There will be wildlife demonstrations and a seminars on trapping beaver and primitive bowmaking.  

 IN ADDITION there will be fun and educational activities on Sunday.  Choose an hour horseback ride or a one hour nature hike.  Anyone can join us, but be sure to sign up early.  Some activities may not be available with last minute bookings.

OVERNIGHT PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE - Spend the night in the motel right on the grounds, minutes away from the PA Grand Canyon.  Package includes two nights stay, breakfast for two days, and dinner on Saturday night for just $119 per person.  (Child rates are available; based on double occupancy).  ALSO, package holders will receive a discounted rates on all Sunday activities.
